Donations to Hope Exists

Our book Hope Exists was created as a resource for young people in orphanages and other institutional settings. Hope Exists provides therapeutic assistance for young people who have gone through violence. Resources of this type for young people are extremely scare, even non-existant in rural areas. We would like to provide state run orphanages and orphanage workers with this resource in Russian free of charge. We estimate that to pay for the publishing and distribution of this resource in one orphanage of 80 children, it will cost Arts for Life Intl approximately 1,600 USD. All writing, editing, translation and illustrations have been donated from very giving volunteers! To give this resource to five orphanages of approximately 100 children each- it will cost= 10,000 USD. Considering that there are over 800,000 orphans in the former USSR we realize that this is a small fragment of the population. Please donate 20 USD per book that you would like to place in the hands of a child in institutional care in the former USSR.
