Anita Cox and Karen Hvidding started Arts for Life International, Inc. after working with adults and children in crisis in Belarus, Romania, and Australia. Arts for Life International, Inc. believes that God gave us artistic tools to encourage LOVE ILLUMINATION FREEDOM AND EMPOWERMENT in all individuals.

Arts for Life International, Inc.'s mission is to support people in crisis through the use of art and expressive therapies. We work with sandplay, painting, drawing, and 3-D sculpture to empower children and adults to gather insight, understand their inner and outer worlds, and to heal from trauma. We also develop resources that help young people learn about themselves and how violence has affected their lives.
